Trend Micro has announced more than 20 Cloud service providers has joined its Trend Ready Cloud security verification program.

Trend Micro has announced that more than 20 Cloud service providers have joined its Trend Ready Cloud security verification program.

Established in 2012, the initiative was designed to verify compatibility of Trend Micro's security solutions with global Cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, HP Cloud Services and Dell.

Trend Micro marketing and business development senior vice president, Kevin Simzer, said the above providers have now been certified by the vendor.

"We are proud of the success thus far and the confidence that each company has placed in us as we work together to protect their customers," he said.

"This level of involvement and the ongoing growth reinforces the strength of both the program and Trend Micro's Cloud and datacentre security offering."

Proof for customers
The "Trend Ready" designation indicates that the installation, activation and functionality of Trend Micro solutions will work within each Cloud provider's ecosystem.

By participating in the program, Simzer said Cloud service providers can assure customers that their Cloud infrastructures is compatible with Trend Micro security products.

"Being Trend Ready is the validation of a Cloud infrastructure to support and operate our Cloud and datacentre security solution," he said.
