The updated platform is expected to benefit around 2,000 users in Hong Kong and South China region.

OpenText — an Enterprise Information Management (EIM) solutions provider — is now powering Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) platform ezTRADE with its integration cloud called Trading Grid.

With Trading Grid, ezTRADE is able to facilitate transactions seamlessly as well as allow the use of integrated smart mobile devices for EDI document exchange processes. The latter enables real-time event notifications, transaction status inquiries and visibility to analytics, said OpenText in a press statement.

"We are committed to enabling our business partners to capture the infinite possibilities with this product, and to facilitate our members to be more efficient and more competitive in the e-commerce world."

Offered by GS1 Hong Kong, ezTRADE is a B2B e-commerce platform that is used by around 2,000 users in Hong Kong and the South China region. Its users span across industries such as supermarkets, pharmaceuticals, food services and healthcare.
