Malaysian enterprise IT provider Mesiniaga's MB Cloud has recently received Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards 3.2 (PCI DSS 3.2) certification from the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council.

Mesiniaga's general manager of Products and Solutions Eric Foo said MB Cloud,  an in-country managed enterprise cloud, is even more strongly positioned to deliver secure services, which allow customers to run production, backup, disaster recovery, application development and test environment workloads.

Foo explained that the certification had been effected by an independent auditor, who examined whether MB Cloud policies, procedures and technical architecture met with to PCI DSS 3.2 certification criteria, as well as the company's existing certifications such as ISO 27001 and ISO 9001.

"These accomplishments further support our company's mission statement - 'Helping Customers Succeed', showing our commitment in providing Information Technology- related solutions and services at the highest quality and standard," he said.

Mesiniaga has chalked up more than 35 years of experience in providing end-to-end IT solutions and services, supported by many international technology companies, Foo added.

The solutions and services include computing, security, mobility, network, managed services, maintenance and support, software development and software testing.

Foo said MB Cloud and Mesiniaga EverGreen Private Cloud are also monitored around the clock, 365 days a year by their own Security Operation Centre.

In 2016, Mesiniaga established cloud computing services -  'MB Cloud' and 'Mesiniaga EverGreen' - a hybrid framework designed  to offer the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) for enterprise computing needs, Foo said.
