Mahindra Satyam and TechMatrix Corporation, Japan have teamed up on addressing strategic growth areas in the healthcare market and to provide cloud-based healthcare solutions.
Under this partnership that covers the ASEAN region, ICHIGO, TechMatrix subsidiary, will provide its Teleradiology network infrastructure product line and its cloud service for Medical and Healthcare information called NOBORI.
"The Ichigo Teleradiology network is ranked number one in Japan and TechMatrix has been providing innovative healthcare solutions since 1998," said Ram Ramachandran, vice president and business head, ASEAN region, Mahindra Satyam.
Mahindra Satyam will host the cloud and mobile-based services in Singapore and Malaysia for this contract. In addition, it will provide direct sales and IT services to clients throughout ASEAN region.
"Together we hold the vision that our combined experience and expertise can bring transformational solutions to healthcare within ASEAN," added Ramachandran.
TechMatrix and Mahindra Satyam will deliver state-of-the-art healthcare solutions to public and private hospitals and image scanning centres. Both partners will also reduce healthcare costs while improving the quality of services.
This alliance will also increase TechMatrix and Mahindra Satyam's revenues by addressing strategic growth areas in healthcare which leverage cloud-based and mobile technology.
It has been agreed by both companies to invest in Sales & Marketing resources as-well-as Software & Hardware enhancement in this unique technology.
Mahindra Satyam has already installed 'Ichigo Teleradiology iComServer' in its Singapore data centre and will collaborate with TechMatrix to jointly launch the NOBORI Cloud healthcare services this year.
