Deal brings business service management and private and public Cloud infrastructure monitoring.

IT service management software vendor, Kaseya, has acquired Cloud and IT service monitoring software solutions company, Zyrion, for an undisclosed sum.

Other terms of the agreement were undisclosed.

All of Zyrion's management and staff will join the Kaseya team as part of this acquisition and continue to work on integrating Zyrion's solution with the Kaseya platform.

Kaseya said, in a statement, that adding Zyrion's IT services management and monitoring technology for distributed and complex datacentre environments to its technology enables it to provide customers with a complete view of all business services and gives them the ability to manage both private and public Clouds.

It also claimed that the acquisition has significantly strengthened its BSM platform, providing easy, sophisticated remediation to quickly pinpoint, address and resolve any network problem.

Kaseya CEO, Yogesh Gupta, said he sees significant demand from the industry for the ability to proactively and easily monitor new IT environments, including Cloud and virtualisation.

"Monitoring and managing the entire IT infrastructure from a business service view is extremely powerful in these hybrid environments. The combination of these technologies will dramatically increase the value proposition for customers and will further drive Kaseya's growth and success," he said.
