Business application software provider Infor introduced its Infor CloudSuite solutions to the Singapore market at the company's Industry Forum event held in Singapore on Friday (Nov 28).
Described by the company as the 'first group of industry-specific application suites available on Amazon Web Services' (AWS) cloud', the Infor CloudSuite platform for Singapore includes solutions for various verticals, namely food and beverage, fashion, industrial manufacturing, healthcare, business, hospitality, aerospace and defense, and automotive.
Each industry suite within Infor CloudSuite is built by multiple applications that were deployed independently to support core business functions by industry. This core, along with fast and simple provisioning and a SaaS pricing model will enable Infor CloudSuite to change the way enterprise software is delivered to and consumed by customers, according to Infor.
"ASEAN manufacturing, F&B, logistics and other businesses are increasingly integrating into the greater Asia Pacific regional and global markets. By providing manufacturers and enterprises with the business tools they need, and the flexibility and efficiency of cloud-based solutions, Singapore-based managers can focus on gaining market share and expanding business opportunities throughout the region," said Helen Masters, Vice President of Infor ASEAN.
At the event, Infor also reconfirmed its commitment to double-digit growth in the ASEAN region over the next three years. It added that Singapore, as a financial and business management hub, provides a strategic location in Southeast Asia that offers vast opportunities for companies across sectors to establish and manage manufacturing and distribution operations across the region.
Leveraging on AWS platform
Infor said it will leverage the AWS cloud infrastructure to allow customers to take advantage of Amazon's expertise and economies of scale to access resources when they need them, on demand and with auto-scaling built into the Infor applications.
It added that it is currently in the process of consolidating existing subscribers and transitioning current internal infrastructure to the AWS platform.
