Under the new partnership, PLDT will be able to leverage GTT's global Tier 1 IP Network and its suite of cloud networking services which include Ethernet, Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS), and Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) (IP VPN) to connect its multinational clients to cloud-based applications they need.
In addition, GTT will provide PLDT with managed services including multilayered security services and full network management and monitoring.
"Our partnership with GTT enables us to strengthen our capabilities in support of our enterprise customers, allowing them to leverage the cloud to create more avenues for business growth," said Jovy Hernandez, FVP and Head of PLDT ALPHA, in a press release.
Meanwhile, PLDT will help GTT increase the reach of their services in the Southeast Asia, particularly in the Philippines.
