Receives "public cloud service provider" seal of approval from Hong Kong OGCIO

Dimension Data Hong Kong has been approved as a Government Public Cloud Services (GPCS) provider for the Hong Kong Government, the IT services company announced on 20 June.

The approval has come from the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, said the company in a statement.

"As an approved GPCS provider, Dimension Data Hong Kong offers a comprehensive portfolio of cloud services with the capability to deliver solutions tailored to the specific requirements of the different government bureaux and departments," said a company representative.

According to Dimension Data Hong Kong, the OGCIO has approved Dimension Data Hong Kong to deliver IT cloud services in the four major categories of Productivity Apps, Business Apps, Cloud IT Services and Social Media Apps.

Dimension Data Hong Kong is one of the few GPCS providers in the government-approved list that can offer its own end-to-end cloud-based solutions.
