Deloitte spending spree continues with Melbourne-based systems integrator acquisition

Professional services giant bolsters Cloud capabilities with new acquisition.

In December 2014, Deloitte Australia and local social analytics technology company DIGIVIZER signed an exclusive alliance agreement to create new strategic business consulting and technology services, before the professional services giant acquired Australian Oracle integrators, Dataweave, in June 2015.

At the start of October 2015, Deloitte announced that the founders and staff of Oracle identity specialist, Qubit Consulting, joined the company's Cyber Risk Services, creating Australia's largest provider of identity management services.

Less than a month later, as reported by ARN, the tech firm then joined forces with the team at Cloud Solutions Group (CSG), a specialist systems integrator and cloud consulting firm.

"This move is another differentiator for our firm in terms of the technology advisory services we offer our clients," Deloitte CEO, Cindy Hook, added.

"Similar to our platform-led Deloitte Private Connect offering for SME, the expertise of the Sixtree team helps overcome underlying concerns about technology so organisations can do what they do best with the confidence that the systems supporting their operations are working as one."
