Amadeus IT Group SA has launched a travel intelligence suite for agents around the world to use Big Data technology for competitive advantage.
A press statement by the Madrid-based provider of solutions for global distribution said the suite has been named the Amadeus Agency Insight with the initial modules launched being Search Analysis and Bookings Analysis.
It said Search Analysis gives agencies instant insight into their customers' travel intentions by analyzing search data.
On the other hand, Booking Analysis enables agencies to benchmark their market position and evaluate the competition while revealing also trends with regard to growing routes and airlines.
The press statement said a cloud-based Big Data platform, the Amadeus Travel Intelligence Engine is at the core of the Amadeus Travel Intelligence suite. It has been developed by Amadeus for the peculiar needs of the travel industry worldwide.
