What we do with FlexPod is, it's all tested and preconfigured. All that needs to be done is to assemble it at the customer side. And as a result, time to implement it is extremely short. Therefore, the kind of customers who have taken a liking for integrated solutions are largely the enterprise customers, finance institutions, manufacturing institutions, real estate institutions, which are all wanting some platforms for big deployment.
You talked about compulsive connectivity in the beginning? Anything else you see in the future, or in the next three to four years, emerging?
Yes. In my view, I think it's going to continue to evolve as more and more devices come in; as more and more devices get connected. The kind of IT that is going to be needed and the timeline that is going to be available for that IT for deployment especially and how it is managed and supported is all going to change quite radically. And it's important for an organization like NetApp to have technologies which can accommodate those radical shifts which will continue to happen. I've seen a lot of analytical reports which say that the people who are going to buy IT, or rather the person who is going to have the budget to buy IT in 2016, is going to be the Chief Marketing Officer for example. If that is the case, he's going to come up with a second set of requirements which is appropriate to his needs which can be very different from what a CIO or CTO is going to ask for. How to quickly make it available in a model that is appropriate for them? Speed and flexibility are absolutely of essence, and how can we mask all that complexity which is underlining all this infrastructure.
