The collaboration will enable SMBs and enterprises in the region to access high performance mobility solutions.

Ruckus Wireless has announced that its products and solutions are now available through Ingram Micro's network of resellers and partners across Southeast Asia.

This will provide customers in Southeast Asia with greater access to Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi technology, and ChannelFly dynamic channel management technology, which helps improve capacity in congested environments by assessing all available channels prior to the selection process.

The collaboration will also allow Southeast Asian customers to enjoy a wider selection of mobility solutions specifically designed to meet their business needs. These include Ruckus ZoneFlex R710 access points that allow enterprises and service providers to meet the growing demand for wireless capacity and speed; Ruckus SmartZone software platform, which provides unified software architecture across wireless LAN (WLAN) controllers, for appliance, virtualised and cloud environments; and Ruckus Unleashed access points that help simplify and accelerate the deployment of wireless solutions for SMBs.

According to IDC, companies across Asia Pacific (excluding Japan) have been increasing their investments in the area of mobility adoption, with more than 70 percent of its survey respondents claiming to have some mobility initiatives in place within their organisations. The partnership between Ruckus and Ingram Micro is thus addressing the increasing need for secure and reliable Wi-Fi that will drive productivity and foster collaboration and communication amongst workers.  "We believe that Ingram Micro's products and solutions, complemented by Smart Wi-Fi solutions from Ruckus, can help customers solve the challenges associated with realising high performance campus mobility," said Michael Lok, Managing Director for Southeast Asia at Ruckus Wireless.
