Ruckus launches ZoneFlex H500 dual band indoor wall switch

Device delivers high speed WiFi in ultra-sleek , low profile design

Ruckus Wireless has launched the Ruckus ZoneFlex H500 dual band 802.11 ac indoor wall switch with an Alabama hotel chain operator, Point Clear Holding (PCH) & Resorts  to install the device in each of  the 405 guest rooms of its flagship property, Grand Hotel Marriott Resort, Golf Club & Spa in Point Clear.

A press statement by the Sunnyvale, California-based vendor of advanced wireless systems said the Ruckus ZoneFlex H500 (2.4 and 5GHZ) 802.11 ac dual band delivers high-speed Wi-Fi in an ultra-sleek, low profile design.

It uses the Ruckus BeanFlex adaptive antenna and can be quickly and discreetly installed in a standard wall junction box.

The press statement added it is equipped with four Ethernet ports and can connect various devices such as IPTV set top boxes, VoIP telephones  or network minibars.

The company said the new indoor wall switch will be available in China and the Asia Pacific this Q2 2015.

In all of North America and most of Europe, it will be available this March.

It is slated to be available in other parts of the world also within Q2 2015.
