Mirantis OpenStack now supports, interoperates with Juniper Contrail Networking

Development due to expanded partnership between the two vendors.

Mirantis OpenStack now supports and interoperates  with Juniper  Contrail  Networking, the latter a standards-based SDN solution for  enterprise and service  provider customers.

A press statement by Juniper Networks Inc. said the development comes in the wake of its expanded engineering partnership with Mirantis Inc.

Mirantis is a pureplay OpenStack company based in Mountain View, California while Juniper Networks is based in Sunnyvale, California.

The press statement said Juniper and Mirantis have now published a reference architecture for deploying and managing Juniper Content Networking with Mirantis OpenStack.

It added the reference architecture is validated for Mirantis OpenStack 6.0 (based on OpenStack Juno) with Juniper Contrail Networking.
