Networking company Juniper has strengthened its presence in China by signing a sales and marketing agreement with a Chinese information and communications technology (ICT) products and services company- Potevio Guomai.
Potevio Guomai, an existing reseller of Juniper Networks products, will sell co-branded products and plan a long-term strategy of innovation to expand footprint in China.
Both companies will leverage each other's strength in technical innovation, large geographic presence and local market knowledge. Together these partners aim to provide Chinese customers with innovative, scalable and locally relevant network products and services.

Long-term, strategic agreement
The long-term and strategic agreement between Juniper and Potevio is aimed towards developing joint (go-to-market) GTM strategies that is expected to drive more local innovation and customer success in China.
Customers will be able to purchase the co-branded OEM router and switch products in the first half of 2013.
The Potevio group develops and manufactures ICT products and provides related services with a focus on communications, broadcasting, industrial information, financial electronics, and new energy industry applications.
The company's go-to-market plans for China's enterprise market will be aligned to opportunities such as the country's Next Generation Broadcasting Network and Machine-to-Machine Network initiatives and Potevio's Data Center Cloud Computing Initiative (DCCC).
