SINGAPORE, 8 OCTOBER 2009 The enterprise customer intelligence company Webtrends, together with independent internet consultancy firm InetAsia, has launched a new Web analytics service for the Asia Pacific. The service requires no hardware purchase or internal management resources to run the programme.
The Webtrends Managed Services (WMS) is the only platform in the region to offer a proven data collection environment combined with Web analytics, customer reporting, training and digital marketing consulting, said a Webtrends spokesperson.
WMS generates 80 per cent more meaningful Web analytics reports than traditional Web server log files, claimed the company. WMS customers will receive a monthly update of InetAsia's Webtrends Summary Report, which will highlight key statistics and recommendations in an easy-to-read format.
Based in a time-tested data centre located in Hong Kong, WMS specifically caters to organisations looking for an efficient and cost-effective Web analytics managed solution, said the spokesperson.
Cost savings and expertise
According to research analyst Frost & Sullivan, the total Asia Pacific managed services market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.5 per cent from 2004 to 2011, to potential revenues of about US$2.3 billion by 2011. The impetus for adoption of managed services comes about through a number of factors; key among them being cost savings and expertise.
Without having to worry about IT investments and hardware strategy, our customers will be more focused on getting better returns from their online and Web-based marketing campaigns, said James McDermott, VP partnerships, Webtrends.
