Schneider Electric has launched Asset Connect, a suite of 24 x 7 digital services to help monitor, diagnose, analyse, predict and resolve critical situations before they take place in data centres.
Schneider Electric, the global energy management solution provider, said Asset Connect will be offered globally byits services bureau in Bangalore.
The Asset Connect consists of four steps, namely:
• Asset Monitor
• Asset Predict
• Asset Commit
• Asset Operate
On-Premise Data Centres
Schneider Electric said the digital services is geared for large, on-premise data centres or critical infrastructure with complicated IT environments.
As such, these digital services help organisations to meet the challenges of high operational and maintenance costs for data centres, including those for energy, as well as the challenge of shortages of skilled technical personnel.
The company noted that Singapore's increased adoption of Big Data and the Internet of Things would lead to increased use also of data centres.
Thus, it also created the need for more sophisticated and automated approaches to the management of critical infrastructure.
Schneider Electric claimed it is the very first to introduce such a portfolio of digital services in the industry for critical environments.
