However, the company, for some customers, has a 'legacy image' problem that it wants to address. Basis Bay, that grew out of a pre-owned computing equipment management business nearly one and a half decades ago, does not want to be seen as a company that is in the business of using and deploying pre-owned systems. Dato' Praba said that even though big name proprietary vendors too have units working in this segment, though they may not want to talk about it.
