Zimmer improves its customer service with Servion’s help

The new UC solution empowers Zimmer’s employees to be more productive and deliver a better customer experience.

Zimmer Holdings, a global medical device firm, has selected Servion Global Solutions to help it upgrade its unified communications (UC) solution.

According to Servion, the new Cisco Unified Communications release 10 solution will allow Zimmer's 1,200 employees across the Asia Pacific region to schedule appointments and arrange calls quickly and securely through the Cisco WebEx system. It will also enable flexible working options by allowing access for mobile workers, improve security via a fully virtualised private cloud, and allow Zimmer to scale when it has additional users.

Commenting on the deployment, Roy Lim, Associate Director, Regional IS, Zimmer, said that the solution would help improve the employee experience, which will result in its employees delivering high-quality service to its customers.

Zimmer's offices in Singapore will be the first to receive the UC upgrade, followed by the Australia cluster. "We look forward to further upgrading the other APAC clusters to provide a consistent customer experience across the region," concluded Lim.
