Veeam Software has announced the launch of Veeam Explorer for Oracle as part of the new Veeam Availability Suite v9.
The company has introduced number of unique, features for Oracle – such as transaction-level database recovery, and agentless image-based backup and recovery for Oracle ASM. Also, it has announced several additional enterprise-level enhancements for Veeam Explorers for Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint and SQL Server.
Veeam has added Veeam Explorer for Oracle following the request of enterprise customers who want advanced Oracle support to deliver on the needs of today's Always-On Business.

Veeam Explorer for Oracle features unique transaction-level recovery of Oracle databases, including agentless transaction log backup. New eDiscovery features for Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Exchange are useful for complying with legal or government investigations.
The new Veeam Availability Suite v9 also includes major enhancements for Microsoft enterprise applications. Part of Veeam Backup FREE Edition, Veeam Explorer for Oracle is available to all Oracle administrators for free.
