UNIT4 Agresso to help reduce Wageningen UR’s financial and project administration challenges

Nurdianah Md Nur | Jan. 22, 2014
The ERP system will do so by automating and streamlining the financial and business data and processes.

Wageningen University and Research Centre (Wageningen UR) has selected UNIT4's Agresso enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to handle its complex international financial and project administration requirements.

Wageningen UR is an international university and research institution that specialises in research projects which focus on the importance of establishing healthy eating and living environments. It also acts as an advisor to government and commercial business. In Singapore, Wageningen University works closely with the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), providing a joint education and research programme in the field of nutrition and food technology.

Each of Wageningen UR's research projects has a different financing structure, funding scheme and method of justification. UNIT4 Agresso will help reduce this complexity by automating and streamlining the financial and business data and processes.

UNIT4 Agresso was chosen as it is able to manage comprehensive data collection and project administration from within a single system. Besides that, UNIT4 Agresso enables users to make system changes to it after its implementation. Changes can be made as and when required and will only cause minimal disruption to the system.
