In light of the increasing demand for IT optimisation tools in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, TeamQuest is now offering its IT capacity planning and management solutions in Hong Kong and Singapore.
According to Gartner, the revenue growth for Availability and Performance tools in Hong Kong and Singapore is expected to increase by a combined 73 percent, as compared to Western Europe at 35 percent and USA at 48 percent.
This forecast, together with findings from TeamQuest's global survey in 2014, demonstrates the rising demand for IT service optimisation (ITSO) solutions in the APAC region.
According to the survey, IT managers deal with an average of 8 unexpected IT issues per week, each requiring around 3 hours and 7 staff to resolve. This takes their focus away from proper planning, thus affecting productivity. Such issues include network slowdown/outages (42 percent), poor performing applications (37 percent), and availability issues (37 percent).
Most of the of IT managers (93 percent) surveyed believe that productivity and IT efficiency could be improved with proper IT optimisation or performance analysis tools. This belief is supported by nearly three quarters of the respondents claiming to have seen improved IT efficiency after implementing ITSO tools.
"Our suite of capacity planning and management solutions helps businesses maximise their IT return on investment, improve business growth and agility, and minimise risk," said Jason King, Managing Director, International Operations, TeamQuest. "This is an area we see significant potential in APAC, as enterprises increasingly turn to new IT solutions to bolster their competitive advantage in local and international markets."
