Tata Communications has launched its latest version of jamvee, its next generation unified communications platform.
A press statement by the Mumbai, India-based telecoms company said the new jamvee Univided Communications platform now includes an always-on collaborative platform workspace.
This enables virtual teams to meet, share documents and show in real-time videos in this workspace.
It claimed the jamvee rooms also act as permanent "war rooms" where users have assurances their messages will be instantly available and safely secured.
The press statement said Tata Communications worked with technology partners, including Acano and Synergy to develop the new jamvee version.
Jamvee is built on Tata Communications' global Tier 1 network and brings together any kind of client software and device into a single platform.
