SingTel announced a handful of ICT solutions aimed at improving productivity, increasing agility and lowering operating costs of corporations big and small as well as for government entities.
The Asian communications behemoth launched the suite of solutions during a media briefing yesterday, for the company's upcoming biennial i.Luminate event.
"In today's volatile business environment, we face rapid changes in technology and workforce trends," explained Bill Chang, chief executive officer of Group Enterprise at SingTel. "Through innovations, smart partnerships and co-creation, we can anticipate and help businesses and governments to proactively meet the challenges and tap new opportunities."
Solutions for big fish and upcoming fish
For SMEs (small and medium enterprises), SingTel created a solution dubbed 'myBusiness' and describes it as 'A one stop source to grow their business'.
SingTel aims to create opportunities, provide insight and deliver a simple portal for grant enquiries and SaaS (software-as-a-service) applications.
"It's a one stop shop for these SMEs to see what people have done, what they need to do and deploy and what they need to get these grants," Chang said.
MyBusiness has been active for a couple of months, and according to SingTel, has become the largest all-in-one online SME community in Singapore with 500,000 visits per month.
For government entities and enterprises, SingTel regards its solutions as 'everything-as-a-service'. These solutions include i-PhoneNet mobile client and Connectivity-as-a-Service among others.
SingTel also announced their 'iNMS' which is short for 'Integrated Network Management System'. The solution will allow enterprises to manage multiple satellite broadband subscription
i.Luminate is a biennial event hosted by SingTel that will showcase 200 solutions by the communications company and its partners.
"It's our commitment to bring all these innovations that we have within our ecosystem of partners and demonstrate the ICT technologies that could change the way people think, work and play," Chang said in ode to the main purpose behind the event.
