To help accelerate growth while maintaining high service levels, Singapore-based online grocery service RedMart has relied on Manhattan SCALE for over three months. Manhattan SCALE is a warehouse management system (WMS) developed by supply chain commerce solutions provider, Manhattan Associates.

The benefits of using Manhattan SCALE were realised almost immediately. According to Vikram Rupani, RedMart's co-founder, COO & CFO, RedMart saw its "fulfillment capacity increase by over 50 percent in the week immediately following the implementation."  Following this success, Rupani expects RedMart to continue "increasing capacity by about 15 percent each month without increasing headcount".

As RedMart was initially leveraging Amazon Web Services' (AWS) cloud-based infrastructure, Manhattan SCALE was also deployed in the AWS cloud.

RedMart's WMS implementation coincides with the launch of its proprietary e-commerce web platform and iPhone application in early July.
