Red Hat brings OpenShift closer to the enterprise

Joab Jackson | May 19, 2014
An update to the Red Hat OpenShift on-premises software offers more management and administration tools.

The new version of the software package also includes the latest editions of some of the most widely used open source software in the PaaS environment, notably MySQL 5.5, Python 3.3, PHP 5.4, and MongoDB 2.4, though the new OpenShift cartridges of Python and MongoDB will not be ready until an update of OpenShift Enterprise is issued shortly, according to Red Hat.
