Print less, and for less with Fuji Xerox’s Next Gen MPS

Zafirah Salim | Dec. 5, 2014
In this interview, Masashi Sakamoto explained how this new solution can help to increase business productivity, security, mobility, and sustainability.

Since Asia is such a fast-paced region, Sakamoto added that he definitely sees a huge business opportunity in the Asia market.

According to an IDC Managed Print and Document Services and Basic Print Services forecast, the MPS market in Asia is expected to grow more than 14 percent from 2013 to 2018, which is higher than the expected global growth of 9.9 percent.

A separate report by Quocirca titled 'Managed Print Services Landscape 2014' revealed that 50 percent of large enterprises (over 1,000 employees) are now using some form of MPS, and a further 20 percent are planning to use MPS within the next year.

Seeing this potential, Sakamoto shared that Fuji Xerox's sales target for the Next Generation MPS is 75 billion yen (S$8.2 biillion) by year 2016 for the Japan and APAC region.

Additionally, immediate plans for the future include expanding to more countries in Asia as well as other regions, he added.
