Formerly known as JOS Distribution, Innovix Distribution has joined enterprise application provider SAP Malaysia's PartnerEdge Channel programme, which will result in stronger support as well as bringing predictive analytics within reach of the country's small and medium enterprises (SMEs), said the partners.
Chuah Kee Heng, Innovix Distribution's general manager, said the company will distribute SAP Business One, an integrated solution that focuses on small and growing businesses as well as subsidiaries of large enterprises.
SAP Business One, available both on premise and in the cloud, will deliver full SAP functionality, is also certified as compliant with Malaysia's GST [Goods and Services Tax], said Chuah.
He said the solution offered on-demand access to critical real-time information through one single system containing financial, customer relationship management, manufacturing and management control capabilities.
"We have worked diligently to forge a mutually beneficial partnership aimed at helping the domestic SME community maximise business value from SAP's SME solutions," said Chuah. "Our goal is to be the technology distributor of choice in Asia. The reach Innovix Distribution can provide enables our technology vendors to enjoy access to one of Asia's largest networks of resellers and retail partners. Leveraging the available SAP solutions, we can help our customers' customers utilise SME-specific solutions that can drive competitive advantages."
Under the partnership, Innovix Distribution will also offer the SAP Business One version for SAP HANA software, which with SAP's in-memory computing platform, SAP HANA can help clients to monitor application performance and analyse massive volumes of data in real time, he said.

SAP South East Asia head for SAP Business One, Roy Wakim said: "SAP believes that Malaysian SMEs will reap the benefits of this partnership through adopting locally-compliant and industry-proven technology and services suitable for their current expansion and growth needs to help unlock their full potential."
Bernard Chiang, who is SAP Malaysia managing director, said the move also meant unprecedented innovations and simplifications for customers.
The predictive analytic capabilities of SAP Business One version for SAP HANA also will allow SMEs to enhance their business planning and decision making, while at the same time providing real-time insight into consumer behaviour, said Chiang, who described the partnership with Innovix Distribution as a milestone for Malaysia's SME community.
"In any market, there is always the danger of facing company legacy, and costly and disparate systems," he said. "SAP's partnership with Innovix Distribution will help to eliminate such inhibitors through our varied spectrum of offerings and bring maximum benefit to SMEs in Malaysia. It is not only a sign of our commitment to the country, but to our valued partners as well."
"The key to this partnership is to deliver value at maximum convenience to customers. By opening additional channels to the customer, we are able to support them as closely as possible," added Chiang.
