Unified communications (UC) vendor, Polycom, has added four new solutions to its RealPresence video collaboration portfolio.
The new solutions include Polycom RealPresence Trio, RealPresence Centro, RealPresence Medialign and Polycom Concierge.
The Polycom RealPresence Trio aims to enable workplace collaboration by transforming the three-point conference phone into a voice, content-sharing and video system. Participants can pair mobile devices or laptops to the product to share content in HD quality and meetings can begin with a one-touch integration with calendars.
A webcam can also be added for visual collaboration. Additionally, RealPresence Trio technology is said to have broad interoperability across multiple UC platforms including Skype for Business and Microsoft Lync and Broadsoft.
According to Polycom, it’s RealPresence Centro is designed with instinctual human behavior in mind. The vendor's patented 360-degree voice and video technology automatically tracks the speaker, while showing the entire meeting space on the same screen.
It also features intuitive touch screens, wireless pairing with many devices and built-in proximity sensors that enable responsive and intelligent interaction.
The RealPresence Debut is aimed at SMBs with limited IT resources or smaller workplace environments. It incorporates Noiseblock technology and a pan, tilt and zoom camera with 1080p quality for video and content sharing. It can also connect with Polycom’s RealPresence Cloud services.
The UC company has also added RealPresence Medialign to its portfolio that features voice, content-sharing and video technology as well as its NoiseBlock, acoustic fence audio and EagleEye producer, and EagleEye director camera technologies.
Polycom Concierge has also been added to the suite. The enterprise-grade software automatically connects to personal devices such as smartphones and PCs. It can wirelessly connect to all other new solutions in the Polycom RealPresence portfolio, including Open Telepresence Experience and RealPresence Immersive Studio systems.
The UC company has also launched a portfolio of Polycom VVX business media phones that support and interoperate with the forthcoming Cloud voice service offering as part of Microsoft Office 365.
