Coastes recently launched their digital menu app with PayPal's mobile SDK, allowing customers to place their orders and pay the bill from their tables or deck chairs. This reduced the ordering process time by 69 percent - it now required an average of 1.6 minutes from a previous 5.2 minutes. The beach bar also saw a 30 percent increase in customer return visit rate and a 20 percent increase in revenue since the introduction of the app. "With PayPal's mobile SDK, we have been able to reimagine ways to deliver lasting customer experiences," said Heather Seow, Coastes' managing director. "It also allows us to remodel internal processes that enable our people to focus on higher value-adding activities, such as engaging customers to provide a holistic service experience."
