Brands can now easily engage their customers with Viber by using Nexmo’s Chat App API.

Cloud communications company, Nexmo, has collaborated with Viber to allow brands to easily and seamlessly engage their customers on Viber's messaging platform via Nexmo's Chat App API.

The Nexmo Chat App API enable companies to engage with mobile consumers via their preferred channel, be it chat apps, SMS or voice. Chat applications have massive online presence but differ from one another in terms of disparate features, geographic penetration, technical requirements and local market restrictions.

The Nexmo Chat App API solves these problems with one API, allowing brands to integrate LINE, WeChat and now Viber into their existing communications platform. The Chat App API connectivity is also supported round-the-clock with Nexmo's customer service offerings.

Following this announcement, brands can sign up for beta access to engage with their customers via Viber, WeChat and Line through one easy-to-use cloud API.

"We are excited to offer brands a simple way to engage their customers on Viber through our global cloud communications platform," said Chris Moore, Chief Revenue Officer at Nexmo. "As part of our vision to improve global communications, Viber's massive audience and global reach presents brands with the opportunity to deeply engage their customers on their favorite chat app."
