New Malaysia based APAC office testament to business growth, Interactive Intelligence says

Contact centre and UC specialist Interactive Intelligence has expanded its regional headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to keep pace with 25% annual growth.

Interactive Intelligence [ININ] has expanded its APAC headquarters in Kuala Lumpur to keep pace with regional business expansion, said the contact centre and unified communications specialist.

The new regional HQ, previously at Menara IMC, has moved to Unit 9.1, Level 9, Menara Prestige, No.1 Jalan Pinang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur, said Interactive Intelligence's regional director for Asia Simon Lee.

"We are excited about the move as it is a testament to our growth in the region," said Lee. "As the APAC HQ, we are servicing more than 1,000 clients, hence, the requirement for a new environment with more facilities and manpower," he added. "We have doubled our office space to 11,000 square feet and our workforce has increased 35 percent."

He said that the APAC HQ in Malaysia will continue managing countries such as China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

"Our business is growing by all measures. Interactive Intelligence has experienced a 25 percent growth rate every year for the past several years," said Lee. "The same growth rates are targeted for the coming months for 2014."

He said, "ININ has expanded its customer base across its key markets in Asia Pacific and is positioned and equipped now with a strong product portfolio and solid growth strategy."

Lee said the new office will host upgraded "test and demonstration facilities to give clients in the region a hands-on- experience of the products and services in the early stages of decision making. Clients can now anticipate Customer Interaction Center (CIC) test as well as cloud contact centre service offerings in the near future."
