New GST-compliant digital solution to help Malaysian SME retailers: RHB, Ebizu

Following the implementation of Malaysia's Goods & Services Tax on 1 April this year, companies in the SME sector need help to adopt digital solutions.

To help Malaysian small and medium enterprises improve their business operations and point-of-sale processes, a new e-retail solution has been launched, which is compliant with the Goods & Services Tax (GST) implemented on 1 April 2015, said the partners RHB Group and Ebizu.

The collaboration between financial services institution RHB Group and digital retail solutions provider Ebizu means that Malaysian SMEs can use the GST-compliane RHB SME e-Retail solution  to enhance their point of sales experience and other business operations, said the partners.

Ebizu's co-founder and chief product officer, Rohit Maheswaran, said as more consumers are connecting with businesses and brands on mobile platforms, the country's SMEs need to speed up their adoption of digital solutions to thrive.
