Microsoft Sway: PowerPoint on steroids

Nancy Gohring | Oct. 2, 2014
Microsoft unveiled a new Office app, called Sway, designed to let users easily build nice presentations.

Microsoft said it is working on integrating with more sources that users can tap into to grab content. It is also working on expanding features for businesses, like connectivity with SharePoint, integrating the Office Graph, and better security features.

Sway joins Delve among new apps that Microsoft has very recently rolled out. If the apps take off with users, they could persuade people to stick with Microsoft suites like Office rather than try competitive products, like Google Apps.
