Solution provider OpenText recently announced the availability of a new solution that can help marketing professionals reach out to their customers across different channels using a consistent brand.
The OpenText Global Brand Management solution is the company's latest solution developed to improve the customer experience through efficient content management.
OpenText is an enterprise content management software company that focuses on solutions that help companies better manage their content.
With OpenText Global Brand Management solution, organisations can produce, use and publish digital media, and automate the processes involved. OpenText said its solution is flexible and easy to use, thus improving productivity. Organisations requiring rich-media messages can also easily create new digital assets, such as subclips from a video, and integrate these and collaborate with other users, processes, and applications.
Part of OpenText's brand management solution is the OpenText Media Management 7.1 which was also announced recently. The company said its new software also delivers consistent branding from rich media creation to multi-channel, multi-platform distribution.
"The OpenText Global Brand Management Solution is focused on helping companies increase the value of their brand, a concern for chief marketing officers everywhere," said James Latham, chief marketing officer, OpenText. "Global Brand Management provides transparency and secure access to all digital marketing content, helping to increase productivity, integration and performance, while significantly contributing to better ROI and lower total cost of ownership, and ultimately a rich and engaging customer experience."
OpenText said its new software can also be integrated with its recently announced Managed File Transfer solution, which facilitates movement of large media files faster and securely. This new file transfer solution cuts file transfer time from hours to minutes, the company said.
One company that finds value in better content management is Rosetta Stone, a provider of technology-based language learning solutions.
Donna Bible, digital asset administrator, Rosetta Stone, said the OpenText media management platform is a "worthwhile investment" for them because of the software's flexibility and ease of use.
"With Media Management, we can readily find existing content, while the enterprise system enables content sharing across departments. As a consequence, we literally cut our stock purchasing budget by half in the first year," said Bible.
OpenText said the OpenText Global Brand Management and OpenText Media Management 7.1 will be released next month (May).
