Malaysia-based Datamation is confident of achieving an increase of 20 percent enterprise sales growth this year as the result of a new signing with German cloud enterprise solutions firm SEEBURGER, which adds the distribution of a private cloud-based file exchange solution.

"Datamation expects this partnership to increase its enterprise solution revenue and boost the number of enterprises in Asia into using cloud-based file sharing," said Datamation chief executive officer, Alex Wee. "This year, Datamation is expecting at least 20 percent growth in enterprise solution revenue sales with the addition of reselling the SEEBURGER MFT SeeFX solution."

"This partnership brings valuable expansion of our solution portfolios that will benefit both our partners and clients," said Wee, adding that prior to this new signing, Datamation has been a very active reseller of SEEBURGER's Business Integration Suite (BIS).

"The new secured information transfer tool will also address the concerns of Malaysian companies seeking to implement MS ISO/IEC 27001:2007, IT Security Techniques - Information Security Management Systems," he said.

SEEBURGER regional director, Asia Pacific, James Hatcher, said: "SEEBURGER made Malaysia its Asian regional headquarters in 2012. This SEEBURGER-Datamation partnership is part of the company's strategy to increase its penetration in Asia Pacific where SEEBURGER already has a significant presence in countries including China, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Australia."

"The  partnership also makes Datamation SEEBURGER's first appointed reseller partner in the Asia Pacific region to provide and implement SEEBURGER's cloud-based file sharing solution in Malaysia, according to the partners," added Hatcher.

With additional operations in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia, Datamation's clients include Ministry of Education of Malaysia and Singapore, Department of Statistics of Malaysia and Singapore, AKPK (Agency of Bank Negara Malaysia), Sime Darby Medical Centres, Sunway Group, Jambatan Kedua (wholly owned by Ministry of Finance Malaysia), Star Publications, TH Properties and the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia.
