The solution will automate the nursing home’s operations to help reduce operational costs and improve employee productivity.

Family-run nursing home Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home in Singapore has selected Napier Healthcare — a healthcare technology and services provider — to help standardise its operations and improve its workflows.

Established in the mid-1960s, Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home provides affordable and personalised eldercare for its 110 residents. According to the nursing home's administrator Then Kim Yuan, several parts of the nursing home operations are labour intensive, heavy in paper work and time consuming. The nursing home thus hopes to reduce its operational costs and improve employee productivity by implementing the Napier Nursing Home Solution to automate both clinical and non-clinical processes, he added.

Besides helping to boost productivity, the Napier Nursing Home Solution will also help reduce medical errors and assist in other areas such as record management and documentation. With the real-time retrieval and update of records and data feature, the solution enables employees at Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home to have complete visibility and access to clinical information as well as resident assessments within the nursing home and beyond the premises.

"We believe there is at least a 30 percent gain in productivity with the improved communication amongst staff, residents and their family members by implementing the Napier Nursing Home solution," said Then. "These operational efficiencies will lead the nursing home towards a more humanistic, holistic and multi-dimensional care."
