Prior to the implementation, all workflows in MyClear were manual and paper-based, which had a negative impact on business efficiency and staff productivity.
MyClear's helpdesk team and change management secretariat had to spend a significant amount of time to consolidate, monitor and analyse all the different information they need to manage customer requests.
All this drove MyClear to adopt K2 and its solution, K2 blackpearl, which made internal sharing of information easier and accessible anywhere within the company.
The solution has enabled employees, project owners and developers to access data and information using their mobile device.
"Improving the organisation's internal processes that its employees work through daily is vital to business success and customer satisfaction," said Ros Yusoff, Chief Information Officer at MyClear. "This led to MyClear and K2 coming together to streamline business processes. K2 was instrumental in boosting automation, simplicity and efficiency among MyClear's departments."
K2 is also playing an advisory role to MyClear on improvements, which can be done internally without creating heavy dependence on vendors.
K2's consultants educated the team on form development, and showed how data can be extracted from different sources and displayed on a single page.
These consultants also showed MyClear how to address delivery cycle requirements.
MyClear started the automation and integrated K2-based internal workflows with Microsoft SharePoint 2013 over company's intranet in May 2014.
The company has experienced improvements across all departments since this month.
"Next, we will look for ways to enhance the change management system further, along with the other applications in our internal collaboration suite, like incident management, performance management, document management and software development lifecycle management for performance improvement," added Yusoff.
