International law firm, RHTLaw Taylor Wessing (RHTLTW), has deployed a Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) solution to boost the reliability of its ICT infrastructure and ensure business continuity.
RHTLTW's IT infrastructure supports its applications such as practice management, document management and document versioning as well as enterprise solutions for accounting and customer relationship management (CRM).
In line, the law firm aims to be able to recover its systems within a day in the event of a failure. As such, the company leveraged Zerto's DRaaS which is deployed and supported by its partner, ICONZ-Webvisions (iWV).
"As we make progress in our digital journey, the IT infrastructure, applications and data are becoming even more tightly integrated into our everyday operations. To ensure business continuity, we need a reliable DR solution delivered by a service provider that is focused on our requirements and able to meet our DR goals. That is why we decided to go with the Zerto-based DRaaS solution provided by iWV," said Azman Jaafar, Deputy Managing Partner at RHTLTW, in a press release.
Zerto said the DRaaS delivers virtual replication for both VMware and Hyper-V environments thus enables the law firm to quickly restore its business applications and data by failing over to a dedicated virtual environment based on its disaster recovery needs.
"To meet RHTLTW's DR requirements, iWV partnered Zerto to offer a highly-reliable DRaaS together with the assurance that the firm's data and applications are housed securely in a purpose-built data centre," said Albert Wong, Group Chief Executive Officer at ICONZ-Webvisions.
Additionally, Zerto said the DRaaS enabled the law firm to free up IT manpower focusing on disaster recovery operations and deployed them to a more mission-critical tasks.
