Ultimately, the first step in progressing towards becoming a real-time enterprise is for businesses and their people to truly understand what the intended outcome of the deployment is and how they can monetise it. It is critical for them to realise the potential of real-time technologies to transform business strategies and deliver value, by fundamentally accelerating decision processes and optimising service offerings. More importantly, companies shouldn't just look at it as a form of a monetary investment, but rather seeing themselves as a front-runner in the market.
