HK Express leverages NetSuite OneWorld to support business expansion

NetSuite OneWorld was selected for its cloud-based architecture, global financial functionality, built-in business intelligence and easy customisation.

Hong Kong-based airline HK Express has deployed NetSuite OneWorld to support its plans for growth.

HK Express aims to grow its fleet from 14 aircrafts to over 30 aircrafts by 2018. As such, they needed an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system which could be integrated to its new ticketing and reservation system.

Hence, HK Express selected NetSuite OneWorld for its cloud-based architecture, global financial functionality, built-in business intelligence, and easy customisation.

"We needed a cloud-based system that was consistent with our goals of efficiency," said Simon Gu, GM of Finance & Legal for HK Express. "NetSuite OneWorld provided a modern, scalable system with minimal upfront investment and the flexibility to adapt it to our needs."

In line, NetSuite OneWorld provided HK Express with a platform for end-to-end financial processes including vendor payments, revenue reporting and fixed asset management.

According to NetSuite, the solution was deployed on the HK Express within three months. The single cloud solution also in NetSuite OneWorld has allowed the airline to quickly add offices with anywhere and anytime access.

Additionally, its unified platform gives HK Express visibility across its operations with a single unified financial system record. The SuiteCloud Developer Network (SDN) of NetSuite has also a provided a platform for the airline to customise its system to meet its specific needs and at the same time adapt with the evolution of business while integration with its ticketing system, automating manual processes and enabling the company to run its revenue accounting with just two staffs.
