Genesys revenue for 2014 stood at US$850 million, a record 15-percent increase over its revenue for 2013, according to a press statement released by the U.S.-based vendor of multi-channel customer (CX) and contact centre solutions.
It said strong demand for their company's cloud offerings propelled its record sales performance. The company also saw sales of the Genesys CX cloud platform grew 200 percent throughout its Premier, Business and Enterprise editions.
"Last year, we successfully executed our strategy to bring the power of Genesys to new markets—which resulted in strong growth, new customer revenue and high demand for our cloud solutions," the press statement quoted Genesys president and CEO Paul Segre as saying.
The Genesys cloud solutions will likely experience rapid growth as more customers leverage cloud to be more agile and to realise greater savings.
