Thailand’s Comanche International selects TIBCO Spotfire to build its next-generation digital infrastructure

Thailand's Comanche International (Comanche) has chosen TIBCO Spotfire to support the data visualisation and analytics functionality of its hotel booking solutions platform.

Thailand's hospitality and services industry is embarking on a modernisation process.  

However, "the usage of data analytics tools is still largely under-utilised in Thailand's hospitality industry," said Sune Sucksdorff, Managing Director of Net Protection Concepts, a TIBCO partner.

The implementation of Spotfire streamlined the digitalisation of Comanche's various business modules. This includes the core modules of the Front Office and Point of Sales (POS) systems, event management and the online booking interface and mobility modules, such as the POS Tablet and Android order stations.

Spotfire thus played an important role in integrating new channels with Comanche's core system as part of its real-time hotel management strategy.

"The robust data visualisation and analytics capabilities of Spotfire enable fast and accurate decisions through a graphical presentation of business critical data," said Somboon Sukheviriya, Chief Executive Officer, Comanche.  "The front office, reservations and services teams at hotels and serviced apartments are now able to react swiftly and effectively to changes by analysing data in real time. [This increases] their efficiency and customer service interactions and relationships."   

"TIBCO Spotfire's suite of features, especially smart recommendations and the collaboration and storytelling functionalities, also enhances Comanche's self-service productivity," he added.
