Bank Central Asia — a private bank in Indonesia — recently went live with Sitecore Experience Platform to provide its customers with a better personalised digital web banking experience.
The bank's new website, which went live earlier this year, replaces a static website that was difficult to manage with content updates requiring manual, cumbersome and time consuming processes.
Following a seamless four month migration process, Sitecore went live and it is now effectively tracking website traffic, as well as the impact and effectiveness of different web banner advertisements through web clicks. At the same time, Sitecore is able to identify customer journeys through the bank's different website pages.
"We selected Sitecore based on its ease of use, its analytics capability and ability to personalise content for our different banking target market audiences. At the same time, Sitecore offered an attractive pricing model," said Esther Meliana, Head of Marketing Communication, Bank Central Asia.
"We're ultimately aiming to benefit from having a simple, completely connected web experience management and digital marketing solution. We believe it will help us to shape every of our consumer brand experiences. As a result, our content authors will use Sitecore to seamlessly publish content to any consumer device and provide each customer with a contextual experience" she added.
According to the bank, this deployment follows the initial successful deployment of Sitecore for its Pioritas Portal. Moving forward, the bank plans to ensure that its website will be mobile optimised, and add additional websites to the Sitecore platform to enable it to "continuously improve the customer's digital experience in constant manner," said Meliana.
