Bajaj Electricals upgrades network to improve communication in its Asia offices

Aryaka’s network solution has helped Bajaj Electricals improve the connectivity between its headquarters in Mumbai, India and branch offices in Dubai and India.

Consumer electrical equipment manufacturing company, Bajaj Electricals, has deployed Aryaka's network solution to improve the connectivity between its headquarters in Mumbai, India and branch offices in Dubai and China.

Prior to deploying the solution, Aryaka said Bajaj Electricals' legacy Internet-based wide-area network (WAN) connectivity failed to provide consistent connection during Voice-over-IP (VoIP) and web-conferencing sessions.

"Our users in China were experiencing a lot of performance issues while using VoIP and web-conferencing applications. The high jitter and packet loss was undermining our efforts to enable effective communication and collaboration between global employees," said G Sowmiyanarayanan, General Manager of IT Infrastructure at Bajaj Electricals, in a press release.

Aryaka's solution combines a global private network, WAN Optimisation, SD-WAN functionality, 24 by 7 CCIE-grade customer support, and network and application visibility.

By implementing Aryaka's solution in its China and India office, Bajaj Electricals saw dramatic application performance improvements. The solution eliminated the disconnection during VoIP and web-conferencing sessions, ensures less than 2 percent packet loss for real-time traffic, and improves connection setup times by two times.

Following the performance improvements experienced in the China office, Bajaj Electricals deployed Aryaka's software-defined WAN (SD-WAN) solution in its Dubai office, within 24 hours of their internet service provider provisioning an internet link.
