The bring-your-own-device (BYOD) and mobility trends have formed a new breed of HR professionals, which demands a flexible human resource solution, according to Malaysian enterprise solutions provider IFCA.
IFCA Solutions Human Resources Division general manager Jay Ron said human resource applications need to be delivered in a modular form to allow companies to fine tune the system - such as the IFCA.Net M Series HR360C - to meet their company's evolving needs.
"We believe mobility gives vast advantages to organisations such as the ability to instantly access critical information instantly," said Ron. "HR professionals no longer need to be tied to a desktop PC or even the office."
He said that HR Web workflow-enabled applications need to offer push business notifications and proactive alerts that help customers to "remove process bottlenecks and bureaucracy."
"However, even with a fully Web-based HR system, the need to be fully mobile has not yet been realised," Ron said, adding that IFCA's system takes advantage of mobile devices, such as tablets, to deliver more efficiency and productivity.
"A centralised database is the key component as a company's CIO needs to ensure that a remote accessible platform for data retrieval is available at an optimum speed," he said. "The bandwidth or speed requirement demands a fully integrated system as well as an automated full Web-based HR solution."
HR360C built on .Net technology
Ron said the HR360C system helps companies to focus on acquiring talent as the solution's modules take care of much of the day-to-day tasks associated with performance appraisal, recruitment, benefits & payroll, time management, claims, and training, and so forth.
"One important note is that HR360C is written on latest .Net technology platform by Microsoft with HTML 5.0, which is compliant with many web browsers on different operating systems," he said.
"A company with staff strength of 100, 300, 500, or more than 1000 would be able to realise value from the HR360C solutions," said Ron, adding that the system could also be delivered as a cloud service for enhanced affordability.
