German software provider, AEB, and Japanese IT consultancy & solution provider, Toyo Business Engineering (B-E-N-G), have partnered to offer Japanese manufacturers in Southeast Asia with a supply chain management software solution.

The software suite, called ASSIST4, integrates with existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. In a joint press release, the two companies said the solution offers functionality that can help control cost, achieve better visibility as well as manage the import and exports of goods. Manufacturers in Singapore and Thailand are the initial markets in SEA to leverage the solution.

"We are keen to have a conversation with manufacturers about their operations in order to identify potential bottlenecks that might keep them from expanding. Together with B-EN-G our mission is to eliminate inefficiency and enable businesses to grow," said Frans Kok, GM of AEB Asia Pacific.

ASSIST4 is now available to all Japanese manufacturers in the region.
