Acronis, a data protection solutions provider, has announced that its Acronis Access 7 is now available across the Asian market.
Designed for small and midsize businesses (SMBs), Acronis Access 7 is an easy mobile file access, sync and share solution that allows employees to remain productive while on the move. It allows users to securely access and edit company documents, as well as safely share content with internal and external users.
According to Jan-Jaap Jager, Acronis' VP and general manager of emerging markets, the solution's build-in core functionality will meet the needs of SMBs that can't afford complex mobile device management (MDM) capabilities. "The solution serves as a secure alternative to cloud solutions and allows sensitive business content to remain on premises and be shared under IT control," he said.
Protecting larger enterprises too
To enable larger enterprises to better protect their data too, Acronis recently introduced the Acronis Access Advanced solution.
Similar to Acronis Access 7, Acronis Access Advanced features easy access, and sync and share functions with the aim of improving employee and team productivity. It enables users to edit Microsoft Office documents, annotate PDF files, and share content with others.
Besides that, Acronis Access Advanced provides IT administrators with complete control over the company's data and files through various ways. The methods include:
- Active directory integration for seamless user management
- Highly granular management capabilities for security policies and content control and compliance
- Audit log for visibility on content access, edition and share
- Certified encryption to meet regulatory standards
- Enhanced authentication to improve security.
Acronis Access Advanced can integrate seamlessly with leading MDM solutions, can scale to any number of users and support an unlimited amount of access servers. This makes it well suited for larger organisations with established IT departments, said Acronis.
