Malaysian IT solutions provider Omesti Group's technology partner Microimage HCM Asia said it has launched a first-of-a-kind HCM Cloud solution, which will help bring digital transformation to human resource management.
During the recent launch in Kuala Lumpur, Harsha Purasinghe, director of HR solutions provider Microimage HCM Asia, said the HCM Cloud solution offered HR professionals to meet challenges presented by the disruptive nature of Cloud, social, mobile and analytics trends.
Businesses need to remodel their processes, said Purasinghe."Disrupt or be disrupted: companies need to rapidly respond and transform in order to attract the best talent, keep employees engaged, enable smoother collaboration across the organisation and manage performance."
"Taking HR into the digital era is the only way organisations will be able to keep pace," said Purasinghe, adding that by 2020, more than 50 percent of the global workforce will constitute millennials, a generation that has grown up with digital technology.

In addition, organisations can use video, social and mobile to drive on-demand learning anytime anywhere on any device. Knowledge sharing and continuous learning for employees will also become far more streamlined.
He said the all-new Microimage HCM Cloud, which was first launched to audiences in Asia last month, was helping companies to maximise the full potential of digital while receiving a consumer grade user experience that is intuitive and interactive.
The solution works seamlessly across all devices including mobile, said Purasinghe. "HCM Cloud enables seamless scaling across functionalities, where organisations can further innovate and deliver compelling services to all their stakeholders. This is true digital transformation of HR."
He said the solution, which operates on Microsoft's Azure Cloud service, now offers a comprehensive platform from Core HR to talent management. Features include advanced organisation set-up for multi-country/group structures, advanced workflows, configurable business rules, natural language query and people analytics across all functions. Apps for iOS and Android provide fully mobile functionality.
Microimage HCM Asia, which was first identified by Malaysian public-listed Omesti Group in 2014 as an innovative HR technology partner, was later formally established in Malaysia to bring cutting-edge HCM solutions to South East Asia and beyond.
