ML: When we talk about the CIOs in China, companies vary massively in nature, size and maturity. Companies like Huawei, China Southern Airlines or Haier Group are now global businesses with huge scale and footprint and the CIOs of these types of companies are clearly leading their industries.
At the same time there are many in the Top 50 that are much smaller in business scope and operation. It's very hard to compare their challenges to IT leaders in Hong Kong.
I would argue that the very top IT leaders in China are dealing with equally challenging and strategic issues that we do in Hong Kong--very likely even on a larger scale and urgency than we do. These CIOs are certainly in the strategic visionary category.
